HVFC Responds to Motor Vehicle Accidents Hours Apart
(July 17, 2024) —- On July 13, 2024, the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to back-to-back motor vehicle accidents on Saybrook Road (Route 154). At 4:35 p.m., HVFC was dispatched to Tylerville for a two-car accident. Two patients were evaluated on scene and refused additional medical treatment. Both lanes of Saybrook Road were closed for about an hour while crews removed the vehicles and cleaned debris from the road.

No one injured after fire at homeless encampment in Wethersfield
WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — No one was injured after a fire broke out at a homeless encampment in Wethersfield on Tuesday.
