    Columbia area spring sports Week 7 top performers: Ava Shrader records 11 K's in Richland win

    It's Week 7 of the high school spring season. Here are the top performers for high school baseball, softball and soccer in the Columbia area.

    THURSDAY

    Baseball

    Saxon Roberts, Independence: Roberts was 3-for-4 with a run, two RBIs and three stolen bases in a 5-3 win over Franklin.

    Anthony Serrano, Independence: Serrano pitched 3.1 innings, striking out seven batters while allowing two hits and no runs.

    Mark Harrell, Independence: Harrell was 1-for-3 with two runs and two stolen bases.

    Alex Bedford, Lawrence County: Bedford was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 9-5 loss to Richland.

    Kasen Smith, Lawrence County: Smith went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run.

    Gavin Glass, Lawrence County: Glass was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

    Grant Fisher, Loretto: Fisher pitched 3.2 innings, striking out six batters while allowing one hit and no earned runs in a 9-1 loss.

    Jameson Andrews, Richland: Andrews was 2-for-3 with three runs and two stolen bases in a 9-5 win over Lawrence County. Andrews also pitched three innings, striking out two while allowing two hits and no runs.

    Bryce Miller, Richland: Miller was 2-for-3 with a run, RBI and stolen base.

    Ethan Swoish, Spring Hill: Swoish was 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two RBIs and an additional run in a 9-7 win.

    Hayden Haney, Spring Hill: Haney went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs.

    Gary Cox, Spring Hill: Cox went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

    Jackson Bennett, Summertown: Bennett went 2-for-3 with a double, run and three RBIs in a 14-1 win over Forrest.

    Grayson Burleson, Summertown: Burleson was 1-for-2 with a double, run and two RBIs.

    Zach Staggs, Summertown: Staggs went 2-for-4 with a double, stolen base, two RBIs and two runs.

    Softball

    Paxlee Harris, Columbia Central: Harris was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI in a 10-0 win over Spring Hill.

    Gabby Bolton, Columbia Central: Bolton went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, two runs and a stolen base.

    Ruthie Lindsey, Columbia Central: Lindsey was 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, run, stolen base and two RBIs.

    Bailey Lovell, Columbia Central: Lovell pitched five innings, striking out nine batters while allowing two hits and no runs.

    Phynlee Keeling, Culleoka: Keeling went 3-for-3 with a double and RBI in a 14-1 loss to Richland.

    Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader pitched five innings, striking out 11 batters while allowing three hits and one run in a 14-1 win. She was also 2-for-4 with a double, run and three RBIs.

    Katelyn Bass, Richland: Bass was 2-for-3 with a triple, stolen base, two RBIs and three runs.

    Callie Hasting, Richland: Hasting went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three runs and three RBIs.

    Caroline Cheek, Richland: Cheek was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run.

    Tarek Scherr, Summit: Scherr went 2-for-4 with a triple, RBI and three runs in a 9-1 win over Centennial.

    Audrey Cathey, Summit: Cathey was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs.

    Saniya Hunter, Summit: Hunter went 2-for-4 with a run, stolen base and three RBIs.

    Bella Uppinghouse, Summit: Uppinghouse pitched five innings, striking out five batters while allowing two hits and no runs.

    WEDNESDAY

    Softball

    Jayla Miller, Independence: Miller was 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs in a 5-3 loss to Ravenwood.

    Saniya Hunter, Summit: Hunter was 2-for-4 with a double, run and three RBIs in a 10-0 win over Franklin.

    Ashlyn Easley, Summit: Easley went 2-for-3 with a double, two stolen bases and three runs.

    Addison Johnson, Summit: Johnson pitched all five innings, striking out eight batters while allowing three hits and no runs.

    TUESDAY

    Baseball

    Jase Kincaid, Columbia Academy: Kincaid was 1-for-3 with a triple, run and two RBIs in a 10-4 win.

    Briar Helton, Columbia Academy: Helton went 2-for-4 with a double and a run.

    CJ Durrough, Columbia Academy: Durrough closed the game out on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings, striking out four batters while allowing one hit and no earned runs.

    Burton Moore, Columbia Central: Moore struck out eight batters over six innings pitched, allowing three hits and no runs in a 7-4 win over Shelbyville.

    Konner Bowden, Columbia Central: Bowden was 1-for-5 with a home run and RBI.

    Jack Beck, Columbia Central: Beck was 2-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base.

    Noah Taylor, Independence: Taylor pitched 6.1 innings, striking out nine batters while giving up two hits and one earned run in a 1-0 loss to Franklin.

    Cash Money, Independence: Money was 1-for-3 with a double in a 1-0 loss.

    Alex Bedford, Lawrence County: Bedford was 1-for-2 with a grand slam and an additional run in a 10-0 win.

    Isaiah Bentley, Lawrence County: Bentley was 2-for-3 with a three-RBI home run, a stolen base and an additional run. Bentley also pitched four innings, giving up one hit and striking out six batters in a 10-0 win.

    Jackson Traglia, Loretto: Traglia went 2-for-3 with a triple, double, run and two stolen bases in an 8-7 loss to Summertown.

    Miles Moore, Loretto: Moore was 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

    Carter Edwards, Richland: Edwards was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, two runs and a stolen base in a 12-1 win over Hampshire. Edwards also pitched four innings, striking out five while allowing just two hits and no earned runs.

    Jameson Andrews, Richland: Andrews was 2-for-2 at the plate, with three RBIs, two stolen bases and a run.

    Bryce Miller, Richland: Miller went 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBIs and two stolen bases.

    Nolan Brister, Spring Hill: Brister was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 3-2 loss.

    Aiden Perez, Summertown: Perez was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs in an 8-7 win over Loretto.

    Kane Konig, Summertown: Konig went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run.

    Will Chladny, Summit: Chladny pitched five innings, striking out six batters while allowing one hit and no earned runs in a 4-0 loss to Nolensville.

    Kinsley Taylor, Columbia Academy: Taylor struck out six batters in five innings pitched, allowing just two hits and no runs.

    Saviya Morgan, Columbia Central: Morgan went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, run and stolen base in a 9-2 loss.

    Brylie Waechter, Independence: Waechter struck out nine batters in six innings pitched, allowing no hits and one earned run in a 1-0 loss to Brentwood.

    Jenny Clifton, Loretto: Clifton went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and a run in a win over Mt. Pleasant.

    Mallory Corbin, Loretto: Corbin was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and stolen base.

    Kiersten Randell, Loretto: Randell went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run.

    Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader was 4-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and four runs in a 12-2 win.

    Callie Hasting, Richland: Hasting went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBIs.

    Caroline Cheek, Richland: Cheek was 1-for-5 with a home run, stolen base and two RBIs.

    Ashlyn Easley, Summit: Easley was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs in a 4-3 win over Page.

    Samantha Malcolm, Summit: Malcolm was 1-for-3 with two runs.

    Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: Coble pitched a seven inning one-hitter, striking out 14 batters in a 7-0 win. Coble was also 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs.

    MJ McWilliams, Zion Christian: McWilliams was 1-for-2 with a home run, RBI and an additional run.

    Leilia Rains, Zion Christian: Rains went 1-for-3 with a double, run and two RBIs.

    Soccer

    Emmitt Foretich, Hayden Smith, Independence: Each scored a goal in a 2-0 win over Blackman.

    MONDAY

    Andy Reed, Columbia Academy: Reed went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run in a 12-2 win.

    CJ Durrough, Columbia Academy: Durrough was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs, a stolen base and RBI.

    Gunner Skelton, Columbia Academy: Skelton pitched five innings, striking out seven batters and allowing no earned runs in a 12-2 win. Skelton also went 1-for-2 with two RBIs.

    Lane Sharp, Columbia Central: Sharp pitched 6.2 innings, striking out 15 batters and allowing two earned runs in an 8-2 win over Shelbyville.

    Kasen Smith, Lawrence County: Smith pitched five innings, striking out six batters and allowing just one hit and no runs. Smith was also 1-for-3 with a double.

    Casen Springer, Loretto: Springer was 1-for-2 with a home run, RBI and additional run in a 4-2 win over Summertown.

    Mason Tidwell, Loretto: Tidwell went 2-for-4 with a triple, stolen base and two runs.

    Carter Daniel, Loretto: Daniel struck out 12 batters in seven innings pitched, allowing two earned runs in a 4-2 win.

    Colton Trimble, Richland: Trimble was 2-for-3 with a triple, four RBIs, three runs and two stolen bases in a 15-0 win over Hampshire.

    Bryce Miller, Richland: Miller went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and a run. Miller also struck out seven batters in five innings pitched, allowing just two hits.

    Jameson Andrews, Richland: Andrews was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, two runs and a stolen base.

    Bryson Jones, Spring Hill: Jones went 1-for-3 with a double and a run in an 8-3 win over Warren County.

    Ethan Swoish, Spring Hill: Swoish was 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.

    Gavin Schramm, Spring Hill: Schramm pitched 5.1 innings, striking out six batters while allowing one earned run in an 8-3 win.

    Grayson Burleson, Summertown: Burleson was 1-for-3 with a double and a run in a 4-2 loss. Burleson also struck out five batters in 3.2 innings pitched, while allowing two earned runs.

    Ava Shrader, Richland: Shrader struck out 10 batters over seven innings pitched, allowing one earned run in a 4-3 loss.

    McKenzie Runnels, Summertown: Runnels was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 6-0 win over Columbia Academy.

    Abrianna Davis, Summertown: Davis was 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run.

    Hannah Jones, Summertown: Jones pitched seven innings, striking out six batters and giving up zero runs.

    MJ McWilliams, Zion Christian: McWilliams pitched a three inning no hitter, striking out eight batters in a 16-1 win. She was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double, a stolen base two RBIs and three runs. McWilliams also went 2-for-2 with three runs, three stolen bases and an RBI in a 19-4 win.

    Raleigh Blanks, Zion Christian: Blanks was 1-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and two runs in a 16-1 win.

    Leilia Rains, Zion Christian: Rains went 1-for-2 with a double, RBI and two runs in a 16-1 win. She was also 3-for-3 with a triple, a double, three RBIs and three runs in a 19-4 win.

    Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: Coble was 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, two stolen bases and two runs in a 19-4 win.

    Mya Whitehead, Zion Christian: Whitehead was 1-for-1 with a triple, RBI, stolen base and two runs in a 19-4 win.

    Soccer

    Benton Wall, Columbia Central: Wall scored a goal and assisted two in a 3-0 win over Spring Hill.

    Weston Lewis, Columbia Central: Lewis saved a penalty and recorded a shutout.
