    COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman who was charged after allegedly attacking a man with a hatchet in May was arrested early Friday.

Taejour Hill, 23, of Columbia, was charged in June with second-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. She was booked into the Boone County Jail at 3:22 a.m. Friday and is being held without bond. An arraignment was held on Friday afternoon and Hill appeared by video from the jail.

A confined docket hearing was scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25 and a preliminary hearing was set for 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim stated they were sitting behind a van on May 22 and were given permission to use electricity. A man allegedly got into an argument with the victim about using the electricity. The victim allegedly picked up a miniature baseball bat and pointed it at the man, according to court documents.

The man left and then came back with Hill, the statement says. The man allegedly pointed a gun in the victim’s face, the victim smacked it away and the man punched the victim, the statement says.

Hill then allegedly took a hatchet and hit the victim in the left arm, the statement says. The victim allegedly had a 3-inch cut on his arm and was bleeding when he spoke with police, the statement says. Hill and the man then ran away, according to court documents.
