Police: Garden tool, meat cleaver used in stabbing on Lower East Side
A garden tool with prongs, a meat cleaver, and a box cutter were all used in a fight on the Lower East Side.Police say two men used the weapons on each other when they got into a dispute on Saturday around 6 p.m. near Madison and Catherine Streets.One of the men was stabbed in the eye. ROSELLE PARK, NJ — Have you heard the news? The Roselle Park Theater Camp will be staging the cult-classic musical Newsies Jr. on July 31 and Aug. 1 at the Roselle Park High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The musical tells the story of a real life newsboy strike in 1899. It is a condensed version of the original Newsies, clocking in at just under an hour. Rutgers football adds historic matchup to 2025 schedule
Rutgers football is set to make history during the non-conference portion of the 2025 season. The Scarlet Knights will host Miami of Ohio at SHI Stadium on Saturday, September 6th, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NJ Advance Media. The Redhawks announced the matchup in a press release Friday night.

The list is a collection of the top 1,000 all-star game eligible players at the FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels, and serves as an early look into the scouting process ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - The President of the Belford Seafood Co-op spoke at the recent Middletown Committee meeting to share his concerns about development in the Belford section of town. In a spirited discussion with Mayor Perry, the speaker expressed concerns about development in Belford. The Mayor shared his concerns about state mandates and that the property in question was part of their affordable housing plan.
