Aliyah Boston's college coach, South Carolina Gamecocks tactician Dawn Staley, couldn't be any prouder of the Indiana Fever star during her standout performance against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.

In a game in which star point guard Caitlin Clark struggled, Boston stepped up big time and recorded a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds to propel the Fever to the 81-74 victory.

Boston was a consistent force from start to finish, allowing the Fever to stay in the game despite Clark going 5-of-17 and committing six turnovers.

After witnessing her former player dominate, Staley took it to X (formerly known as Twitter) to heap praise on the two-time All-Star.

"Easy like Sunday morning but it’s afternoon for @aa_boston double double…..I see you WNBA All-Star!" Staley wrote.

Aliyah Boston definitely deserves the recognition she's getting. Without her, the Fever likely would have been blown out by the Lynx. At the end of the day, she proved to everyone why she's an All-Star this 2024 season.

It's also great to see Dawn Staley consistently watching her former players and giving them credit when it's due. Sure enough, the relationship she has with them is simply incredible.
