FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - High pressure sitting on top of us the next few days is going to keep weather calm and temperatures on the comfortable side. Expect mostly sunny conditions for your Friday with highs in the upper 70s, a few degrees cooler than normal. Saturday will basically be a repeat of Friday, but afternoon temperatures will be a few degrees warmer, in the low 80s.
Twelve Parkview nurses receive DAISY Award
Twelve Parkview Health nurses were recognized this spring by The DAISY Foundation for extraordinary nursing. The DAISY Foundation was founded in memory of Patrick Barnes, a 33-year-old man who spent eight weeks in a hospital being treated for an autoimmune disorder. During his stay, Barnes received excellent nursing care, and, in his memory, his family created The DAISY Foundation to honor nurses who go above and beyond for their patients.
