ALDOT announces grants for municipal airports
The Alabama Department of Transportation today announced it has awarded over $22,000 in state funding to three municipal airports for improvements. The Ozark Municipal Airport in Ozark will receive $144,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration and $8,000 from a state grant for the construction of a corporate hangar. The airport will provide $8,000 in matching local funds for a total value project of $160,000.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Detectives are investigating two deadly crashes involving vehicles hitting pedestrians in the town of Madison over the weekend. A 48-year-old man was struck and killed by a Jeep on Gallatin Pike late Saturday night. The report states the man was found lying in the middle of the road near Walton Lane.
