    Severe Thunderstorm Watch canceled for Northeast Ohio counties

    A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for multiple Northeast Ohio counties Sunday afternoon by the National Weather Service and was canceled before it was set to expire.

    The NWS issued the watch for Columbiana, Tuscarawas and Carroll until 10 p.m., but canceled it just before 8 p.m.

    Earlier, counties such as Cuyahoga, Portage, Summit, Geauga, Mahoning and Trumbull were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning Sunday afternoon, all of which expired by 5 p.m.
