RODMAN FUNDRAISER – Alliance Applebee’s will host a dine-to-donate event for the Friends of Rodman Public Library on Tuesday. Those dining in are asked to present a flyer, available at both the Main and Branch libraries, to their server, and the Friends of Rodman Public Library will receive 15% of the check. Those ordering online should enter the code DOINGOOD. The offer is not valid on delivery orders.
AULTMAN VOLUNTEERS – Aultman Hospital is seeking new volunteers to help support caregivers, patients and families.Volunteers are fully trained and work in a variety of areas performing greeting, clerical and other assistance tasks. Aultman is currently seeking volunteers to help in the following areas: Breast Care Center, pharmacy, emergency department, guest assistance and the mail room. Volunteers need to commit a minimum of 50 hours of service per year. Background checks and mandatory health and safety checks are also required for all interested individuals. HYDRANGEA TALK – Columbiana Women’s Club, 121 N. Main St. in Columbiana, plans “Hydrangeas in the Landscape” with expert Eric Barret, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park, 338 E. Park Ave. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Tickets are $25 per person with lunch served at noon; or $15 per person for the program only starting at 12:30 p.m. For more information on the 2024 Garden Events and to RSVP, call 330-207-1470.
SEBRING COUNCIL – Sebring Village Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Village Hall. Among items on the agenda are changes to the village charter. Changes are an ordinance amending the charter to alter the makeup of the village’s Parks and Recreation Board, and to change a section of the charter called “nominations, elections and recall.”
