Thunderstorms, heavy rain expected in Columbus this week. Will temperatures get any cooler?

Columbus residents can expect slightly lower temperatures this week, but they’ll come with high chances of thunderstorms throughout the week.

Monday was expected to stay hot, with heat index values as high as 105 degrees , according to the National Weather Service. The start of rain and storms was set to begin after 5 p.m.
