Join the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer for free event, meet reporters, ask questions.

The Ledger-Enquirer is preparing for a major change: On Aug. 19, we will move to a two-days-per-week print schedule.

We want our readers to be prepared for this change, and we want to give you the opportunity to ask questions of the staff about our array of digital offerings. With that in mind, we’ve planned a forum for our audience on July 25. You can RSVP for the free event here .

We will deliver Wednesday and Sunday papers every week, and because they’re delivered by mail, you’ll get your Sunday paper on Saturday.

In addition to two papers, our print subscribers will still get access to all our reporting online. That includes several great features to stay connected with our reporting: Our website features fresh news 24/7 at ledger-enquirer.com , and our top stories are provided to readers every weekday through our morning newsletter, which you can sign up for at ledger-enquirer.com/newsletters .

A subscription also gets you access to our online Edition, a newspaper-style product that’s curated every morning with the top local news of the day. It can be accessed at ledger-enquirer.com/edition .

We invite you to join us at the Columbus Public Library at 3000 Macon Road. We will host our event from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with presentations at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. We will have staff members and editors available to speak with you and answer any questions you have.

You can read more about this change in Georgia Editor Jeremy Chisenhall’s column on our website .
