    Local health departments extend hours to give school vaccinations

    COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Local health departments are working to bring ease to parents who need to get their children vaccinated by ensuring they have time to do so.

    At the following locations, health departments will be extending their hours to accommodate busy parents schedules:

    • Columbus Health Department
    • Harris County Health Department
    • Sumter County Health Department
    • Crisp County Health Department
    • Dooly County Health Department

    The Columbus and Harris County Health Department will provide vaccinations on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon.

    The health departments will also be able to provide travel vaccinations for anyone going to a foreign country.
