Ole Miss' answer to Judkins transfer may already be on roster in form of Ulysses Bentley
Ole Miss lost star running back Quinshon Judkins to the NCAA transfer portal over the off-season. You win some some and you lose some, we reckon. Judkins was a star for a reason. In two seasons at Ole Miss, Judkins tied Deuce McAllister's school record with 14 career 100-yard rushing games and set school single season records in 2022 with 1,567 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. He was named first-team All-SEC for the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was named CBS Sports' national freshman of the year in 2022.
Sumrall soccer star returns Gatorade Player of the Year honor to Pine Belt

Sumrall High School midfielder Addie Siders became the fourth honoree to hail from the Pine Belt, and the first of the quartet to do so during her junior season.

Utica gas station burns down after fire breaks out
UTICA, Miss. — The Utica Fire Department is investigating after a gas station in the rural Hinds County area burned down. According to Jordan Lyons, the Utica volunteer assistant fire chief, firefighters got the call shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday to the Pit Stop gas station on East Main Street.
