According to a recently filed permit, Starbucks appears to be making plans to construct a new store at 905 Hilliard Rome Rd. The permit filing didn’t include specific details about the space, such as the square footage of the store or if it will include a drive-thru, but the projected cost of the new Hilliard Rome Road location is $1.3 million, according to details in the filing. Nashville based MJM Architects is listed on the permit filing as the architect of record.

This is the second permit to open a new Starbucks location recently filed by the company. Earlier this month, What Now Columbus broke the news that the coffee chain appears to be making plans to open a store in the shuttered Julep space in Short North. Requests for comment from the coffee chain have not been returned.

Starbucks is the world’s largest coffee retailer, offering an extensive coffee menu as well as seasonal drink offerings that range from coffee beverages to flavored lemonades. In addition to drinks, the chain also has a food menu that varies by location but typically features assorted pastries and breakfast items that can be eaten on the go.
