According to a recently filed permit, the Starbucks kiosk located inside the Kroger store located at 7000 E Broad St in Columbus will undergo some changes. Per the language in the permit, the existing Starbucks kiosk will be replaced with a new kiosk. The specific information as to what the new kiosk will entail are not outlined in the filing, however the projected cost of the new kiosk is $75,000, according to the permit application.

Starbucks kiosks located in retail establishments such as inside grocers like Kroger, are licensed and operated by the retailer, per information found in an article on the financial website The Street .

What Now Columbus reached out to the grocery chain to learn what changes are in store for the new kiosk and how customers may be impacted by the renovations, but a request for comment was not returned.

Whether a guest orders from one of the coffee chain’s stand alone stores or at a kiosk found in an airport or retail establishment, the basic menu items typically include coffee and tea beverages, served hot or cold, and other drinks like fruit infused lemonades, along with pastries and fare that can be eaten on the go, such as bagels, yogurt parfaits and croissants.
