It is getting closer to the college football season and that means we are getting closer to the highly anticipated release of the College Football 25 video game made by EA Sports .
This week, different readers of the game have been released. There have been offensive and defensive rankings released for the top 25 teams around the country in the game . Ohio State was highly rated on both of those with one of the best rosters in the country.
In the first edition of the game in over 10 years, the Buckeyes come in at No. 2 behind only Georgia. Overall, the Big Ten has three top 10 with Oregon at No. 3 and Penn State at No. 9. Michigan is at No. 11 at this point.

Rankings are subject to change and will be updated throughout the season surely just like Madden is. However, the expectation is that this game will have a completely different feel than Madden. Rankings can change at players blossom and develop into stars potentially or as players arise because of an injury to another. This game has been waited for since the 2014 edition and it is going to be interesting to see how many copies are sold.
Ohio State will have many highly-rated players in this game. Safety Caleb Downs, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, defensive ends J.T. Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer, and cornerback Denzel Burke will all be amongst the top players at their position. Quarterback Will Howard and freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith will be fun to use as well.
For now, the Buckeyes will have to settle for the No. 2 spot but we could see that changing as the season goes on.
