Chicken Wing Eatery Roosters Files Permit to Open in New Albany Square

Chicken wing chain restaurant Roosters has filed a permit to open a new location at 4850 Morse Rd, in the former home of an O’Charley’s restaurant in the New Albany Square shopping plaza. Per information in the filing, the existing structure will be remodeled, with the projected cost for the work listed as $500,000.

In addition to the boneless and traditional chicken wings, the menu features salads, soups, burgers and sandwiches. According to information published in a Columbus Business First article from last month when real estate company Casto shared that Roosters had signed a lease at the former O’Charley’s home, the new location boasts over 7,000 square feet, will have seating for over 300 guests and will feature two patios. If all goes according to plan, the location will open by this fall, per the information found in the article.

The permit filing lists Roosters Restaurant Management Corp. as the owner of the Morse Road location. What Now Columbus reached out to the owner for comment on the forthcoming space, but a request for comment was not returned.
