    There's a lot going on around Columbus this summer weekend.


    🚚 Feast from dozens of delicious vendors at the downtown Columbus Food Truck Festival .

    • 11am-9pm Friday and Saturday, Scioto Peninsula riverfront. Free!

    ⚽ Kick off your weekend with music, food and games at the Crew's Summer of Soccer Bash .

    • 3-8pm Friday, McPherson Commons, 218 West St. Free!
    • The intrigue: There will be human foosball. If you play, send us a picture.

    🥳 Take your pick of activities at Picktown Palooza , including carnival rides, a car show, and performances by Quiet Riot and Guns and Roses' Steven Adler.

    • 5pm-midnight Friday and 2pm-midnight Saturday, 300 Opportunity Way, Pickerington. $10. Kids under 11 free!

    🎪 Party under the big top at Columbus Symphony's " Carnival! " concert, with pre-show activities for kids and a post-concert movie, "Ratatouille."

    • 5:30pm Friday, concert at 7pm, Columbus Commons. $8-12. Kids under 3 free!
    • Pro tip: Bring your own chairs.

    👩‍⚖️ Watch Elle Woods make her case at Harvard — " Legally Blonde The Musical " is at the Short North Stage through Aug. 11.

    ⚾ Is this heaven? No, it's Columbus, where " Field of Dreams " is playing on the big screen at the Ohio Theatre.

    🎨 Get crafty at Westerville's Music & Arts Festival , featuring 125 fine arts and crafts vendors at Heritage Park.

    • 10am-7pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday, 60 N. Cleveland Ave. $2. Kids under 11 free!

    💜 Celebrate community, art and music at the Hilltop's Summer Jam West festival at Westgate Park.

    • 11am-7pm Saturday, 455 S. Westgate Ave. Free!

    🛶 Paddle across the Scioto River on Free Kayak Day .

    • 1-5pm Saturday. Meet under the boat launch under the Main Street Bridge, near Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile Fountain.

    🎶 Bring live music back to Pearl Alley — Rally in the Alley returns this year on the second Saturdays of July, August and September.

    • 4-10pm Saturday, Pearl and Gay streets. Free!
