    The Ohio State football season is less than 50 days away. But fans will have an opportunity to see what the Buckeyes' 2024 roster is like this week.

    EA Sports College Football 25 will be widely released Friday. It is the first college football video game since 2014, and is set to include current players with the emergence of name, image and likeness.

    EA Sports College Football 25 will be widely released July 19. Fans who pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the game will have three-day early access starting July 16.

    EA Sports College Football 25 will mark the return of the Road to Glory story mode, where users can create individual players that embark through the college football process.

    The game will also include a Dynasty mode, an Ultimate Team mode and the Road to the College Football Playoff mode.

    In the EA Sports College Football 25 video game, Ohio Stadium is one of the toughest stadiums to play in.

    According to EA Sports, Ohio Stadium is the fourth-toughest stadium to play in behind Kyle Field (Texas A&M), Bryant-Denny Stadium (Alabama) and Tiger Stadium (LSU).

    Ohio Stadium is the toughest Big Ten stadium to play in in the game ahead of Penn State's Beaver Stadium (No. 6), Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium (No. 7), Oregon's Autzen Stadium (No. 11) and Michigan's Michigan Stadium (No. 16).

    Ratings for Ohio State players are starting to trickle in.

    Eight Buckeyes were named as top-100 players in EA Sports College Football 25, more than any other program. This includes Caleb Downs, the No. 1 safety in the game, and running back Quinshon Judkins, who are each top-10 players.

    According to a report by CBS Sports' Josh Pate, Jeremiah Smith has a rating of 84 as one of the highest-rated freshmen in the game. Pate also said wide receiver Carnell Tate and quarterback Will Howard are both 85 overall.

    Pate said the Buckeyes have 10 players with at least an 85 rating on their No. 1-ranked defense.
