Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest: COTA transit options, service reroutes

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — The Central Ohio Transit Authority is encouraging Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest attendees to take advantage of its service routes to travel to and from the event.

In a news release, COTA noted that riders can find the best ways to get to the festival by checking its website at COTA.com or using the COTA Transit app . COTA said that stops are located along High and Front streets throughout downtown making getting to the event easy and convenient.

COTA details:
• Hours: 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends
with the final lineup at 11 p.m. Friday and 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
• Fares: $2 per adult, $1 per child under 12, and children under age 5 ride at no charge.
• Forms of payment: COTA’s digital fare payment system, through the Transit app or COTA Smart Card, cash on board.

Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest details:
• Hours: Friday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 11
p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Location: Bicentennial Park and West Bank Park, 233 Civic Center Dr., Columbus, OH 43215, along the Scioto Mile downtown riverfront.
• Admission: Free

• Expect minor rerouts Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21 on Lines 3, 6 and 9.
