It's a battle of North America in this year's MLS All-Star Game. The best of the MLS take on the best of Liga MX in Columbus.
It's a week-long event that includes a fan festival, a concert, a skills challenge and the All-Star Game, as well as a match featuring the MLS NEXT All-Stars.
For local fans, there's just one question: will Lionel Messi play? The Argentinian star suffered an ankle in the Copa America, leaving him unavailable for two Inter Miami games following the tournament. His status for the All-Star Game will be determined just days ahead of the event. He's yet to play an MLS game in Columbus since joining the league.
Regardless of Messi's status there's plenty of stars to look forward to, such as Federico Bernardeschi, Jordi Alba and five Columbus Crew teammates. They'll take on the best of Mexico on Wednesday, July 24.

Tickets for this year's MLS All-Star Game are available on StubHub . The game kicks off on Wednesday, July 24 at 8 p.m. ET from Lower.com Field.
As of a week before the match, the cheapest pass available is $50. Rail Club tickets, which sit at midfield on the lower level, are just $130.
