Ohio's final entry in the yearly battle for the nation's weirdest state-fair foods: bubblegum-flavored deviled eggs.

The Ohio Poultry Association announced the last of seven deviled-egg flavors Thursday that it plans to serve up at the Ohio State Fair, which opens Wednesday in Columbus. They'll all be available at the association's "Devilishly Good Egg Stand" in the Taste of Ohio Pavilion & Beer Garden.

Feeling hungry?:From heavenly to 'huh?!,' here's the rundown on Ohio State Fair food

The bubblegum deviled egg is described as having "a smooth, creamy bubblegum-flavored filling that will tantalize taste buds with the perfect combination of juicy and sweet flavors." A photo shows that the bubblegum filling with its juicy and sweet flavors, though, comes as a pink dollop topped with candy pearls in place of a deviled egg's paprika-dusted center.

Jim Chakeres, Ohio Poultry Association executive vice president, said the group that represents more than 1,000 egg, chicken and turkey farmers in Ohio hopes to build upon the popularity of last year's debut of the Devilishly Good Egg Stand, which offered cotton candy, lemonade and other unexpected deviled-egg flavors.

This year's lineup of new flavors includes espresso, maple-bacon crunch, buffalo chicken, dill pickle, hot dog and guacamole. Others are crunchy chili, Greek, everything bagel, sweet Korean barbecue, tomato bacon ranch, chocolate, s'mores, honey fig berry.

    Oh, yeah. And classic.

They'll be available in flights, and don't worry if all of this sounds awful to you. The poultry association has another food stand with more traditional fare, such as breakfast wraps, chicken sandwiches, Thanksgiving dinners and cheesecake.

The Ohio State fair opens Wednesday and runs through Aug. 4 at the Ohio Expo Center.
