Central Ohio's newest food hall opens Aug. 16: Get a look inside

Central Ohio's seventh food hall — its sixth in four years — will open in August in a growing development that straddles Columbus and Grandview Heights.

The Little Grand Market , with nine food vendors, two bars, a market, a coffee shop , an upstairs patio and outdoor seating, also will host farmers markets, live entertainment and other activities, its developers said recently during a tour of the 23,000-square-foot space that's still under construction.

The market at 710 Grandview Crossing Way will open Aug. 16 and is to have three days of opening-weekend entertainment. It's part of Thrive Companies' Grandview Crossing , a 60-acre development that is to be home to offices, retail space and more than 900 apartments when completed.

What are the food options at Little Grand Market?

Vendors are all restaurant, food-hall and food-truck veterans: Just Chicken , Seoul Food on the Go , Pablo's Havana Cafe , Taesty's , Los Agavez Taqueria , Gant's Pizza and For the Love of Dough . Lan Viet , which operates in North Market Downtown and its satellite in Dublin, will open another stall at The Little Grand, as well as a new spot called Common Rice.

Frescati Market will offer takeaway Italian food, and Thrive will open a coffee-only version of its Bada Bean Bada Booze coffee-cocktail hybrid. A Little Grand bar will serve people either in the food hall, which seats 300, or in a lounge called Seven Sisters that opens into its outdoor seating area.

Joel Lilly, Thrive's chief financial officer, said there are spots for two restaurants — one inside The Little Grand building and another across the driveway — that have yet to be filled.
