Top 10 College Football Win Total Predictions 2024: Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Oregon

When it comes to the top college football win total predictions, sometimes the idea is to go with a theme.
Like, I believe that you always, always, ALWAYS go under on a total of 11 or 11.5. It's so hard to go unbeaten, that at worst you'll probably push. That partially goes for the 10.5 win totals, too.
Also, and crazy-low total like 2.5 is also - in general - a decent play to go over. There's always one win somewhere on everyone's slate, and it's not asking the world for some awful team to work its way into three victories. (BTW, just six out of 133 teams failed to get to three victories last season.)
So with that in mind, four teams are crammed into two picks - and no, we do NOT believe in parlays around here - based on two belief systems.
College football win totals are only based on the regular season victories, and the Consensus Win Total is a combination of BetMGM, Caesars, FanDuel, and where CFN would set the line if we were doing this.
Georgia takes the field to warm up before the start of a NCAA college football game against Ole Miss in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023

Either I’m all in on my belief system, or I’m not.
It’s been my line all offseason since the transfer portal movement slowed a bit. There’s Georgia and Ohio State in terms of talent, about 100 miles of distance, and there’s everyone else.
Both of them could lose once. Ohio State has to go to Oregon and Penn State, and gets Michigan at home - it is NOT losing that last one.
Georgia starts with Clemson, goes to Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas, has to deal with a desperate Florida, and Tennessee is a problem. For anyone else, this is a 5-7 slate at best.
Again, I have to believe my own thing.
Take out 2020, and Georgia hasn’t won fewer than 11 regular season games since 2016. Ohio State lost twice in the 2021 regular season, but take out 2020 and it hasn’t won fewer than ten regular season games since 2011. Georgia Preview | Schedule Ohio State Preview | Schedule
5. Texas and Oregon

Welcome to the the Power Two, gentlemen.
Last year was last year, different teams, different circumstances, but …
Texas was THIS close to losing to Kansas State and TCU, and got shoved hard by Houston and Iowa State. Replace those four in Big 12 life with, say, Georgia, at Texas A&M, Florida, and at Arkansas from the SEC.
And there’s the date with Oklahoma, and there’s a trip to Michigan. You push with two losses, win with three.
Oregon is getting a TON of love. Last year in the regular season it destroyed a Utah team that wasn’t close to as good as this year’s version, got past an okay USC, and needed a minor breakdown to get past Texas Tech on the road. Outside of that, it beat … ummmm … uhhhh …
