COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — U.S. Marshals on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the June mass shooting in the Short North Arts District.

Michael Duane Wright, 20, faces a tampering with evidence charge, according to a warrant for his arrest. No other details were available on his case, and no online record existed for it as of 11:30 a.m. with either of Franklin County’s criminal courts.

Cases against three other defendants — 19-year-old DeAngelo Fuller, 22-year-old Rondell Mallory and 19-year-old Gabriel Hunter Jr. — are also pending, and Fuller has an arraignment scheduled in Franklin County Common Pleas Court at 1:30 p.m. The trio faces the following felony charges:

    • Fuller – Two counts of failure to comply with order or signal, and one of obstructing official business
    • Hunter – Tampering with evidence with a use of a firearm specification
    • Mallory – Tampering with evidence with a use of a firearm specification

Fuller turned himself in to police the same day of the shooting after police accused him of leading them on a car chase. He received a $100,000 bond from a municipal court judge before the case was moved to common pleas court. Fuller had no attorney on record as of Wednesday.

A grand jury would later indict Mallory and Hunter on July 24. Even adding Wright’s arrest into the mix, no one has been charged with actually firing any weapons in the incident. Mallory had retained an attorney, while a judge assigned a public defender to Hunter as of Wednesday.

Columbus police released body camera footage showing 11 officers’ viewpoints from the June 23 shooting. At least 20 shots rang out before the officers ran toward High Street and chased after suspects.

Columbus police previously told NBC4 that 10 people were shot during the early morning incident in the Short North. Among the victims, which police said were all men, two were juveniles while the other eight were adults. CPD said the ages of the victims range from 16 to 27. Six of the victims were found with gunshot wounds at the scene, while four others had been taken to a hospital before officers responded.

At last update, CPD said all 10 victims were expected to recover from their injuries.
