KELLER, Wash. – The Swawilla Fire burning near Keller has expanded to over 43,000 acres and is threatening homes in the area. According to the Colville Tribes Environmental Trust Program, firefighters worked Saturday to build control lines around the northern perimeter of the fire, and it is 10% contained as of Sunday morning.
