Power Outage Triggers Early Dismissal for Nashua-Plainfield Students
A power outage Friday (08.30) morning forced Nashua-Plainfield to send students home early for the day, even though power was restored before classes were dismissed. The power went out shortly after 9 am Friday (08.30) and the school district decided to release students at 11:30 am. While power was back on about an hour later, Superintendent Jay Marley says they were too far along in their dismissal protocols to reverse course and keep students in school.
