Who Are K-Pop Boy Group ARrC Members? Name & Age

Mystic Story’s ARrc will have seven multi-national members: Kien, Hyunmin, Ziwoo, Choi Han, Doha, Jibeen, and Rioto. Vietnamese rookie Kien is the oldest member, and Jibeen is the youngest.

Kien

(Birthday: December 19, 2004)

Nguyễn Trung Kiên is a Vietnamese rookie who joined Mystic Story after exploring his career in TikTok. The 20-year-old deleted his TikTok profile after becoming a K-pop trainee. He is one of the sub-vocalists and dancers of ARrc.

Hyunmin

(Birthday: April 11, 2005)

Mnet‘s Boys Planet participant Hyunmin joined Mystic Story’s new group ARrc after being eliminated in episode 8. He ranked 48th overall in the completion. The 19-year-old rookie is the leader, main rapper, and one of the sub-vocalists of ARrc.

Ziwoo

(Birthday: November 16, 2006)

Kim Ziwoo is ARrC’s main vocalist. Fans have already seen Ziwoo’s introduction to the MYSTIC STORY INCUBATION CAMP trainee program on June 25th, 2024. The 18-year-old Korean trainee has also participated in the music show I Can See Your Voice, season 10.

Han

(Birthday: April 10, 2007)

Choi Han is one of the main rappers and dancers of ARrc. The 17-year-old Korean trainee previously participated in Wild Idol. He left the show in episode 3. He was also a member of the trainee team WITHUS BEGINS.

Rioto

(Birthday: August 25, 2007)

Rioto is a Japanese rookie who joined Mystic Story to become a K-pop idol. Along with singing, Rioto takes an interest in ballet dancing. He is one of the youngest members of the group. Although he is in the Maknae (younger) team, Rioto is in charge of the gravitas within the group.

Doha

(Birthday: February 10, 2008)

Doha is one of ARrC’s main vocalists. He did not have to train for a long time before making his debut. The 16-year-old rookie auditioned for Mystic Story through his music academy and was accepted into the company on May 2nd, 2024. Within months of joining, Doha will get the chance to debut with ARrC.

Jibeen

(Birthday: August 8, 2008)

Korean-Brazilian trainee Jibeen is the youngest member (maknae) in the band. The 15-year-old rookie is classmates with ex-Fantasy Boys participant Bae Jaeho. Jibeen is not the first member of his family to join showbiz life. His brother is a well-known Brazilian influencer.

ARrc will officially debut on August 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. KST and 5 a.m. ET with the extended play, AR^C. Prior to the release, the group recently shared their song, “Dummy.” Within hours of the music video premiere, it garnered over 360k views on YouTube, proving the group’s early popularity.

The music video for “Dummy” reminds fans of the second-generation K-pop aesthetic. The retro-style music video uses mostly brown and blue-toned filters throughout the video. The song also has a bass-heavy approach, which echoes the aesthetics that were prominent during the 2010s.

With the rise of more experimental Korean pop music in the past few years, ARrc fits nicely into the emerging trend. The rap-heavy song showcases the fluency of most members in the art of rapping right from the start. Meanwhile, the song also has a neo-pop vibe, reminiscent of the NCT genres of K-pop.

After releasing “Dummy,” ARrc is all set for the EP release. The group has shared a detailed schedule of their EP premiere. The K-pop octet will share several snippet teasers before the group’s main release. The snippet teasers will drop from August 12 onwards.
