Listen to an Exclusive Track From Steve Jablonsky’s Borderlands Soundtrack

ComingSoon is pleased to present an exclusive track from the Borderlands soundtrack featuring music by Steve Jablonsky. The track from its original score is called “Lilith Remembers.”

“Collaborating with the amazing team of filmmakers was a great experience. We agreed the gritty rock and electronic approach fits the world and its characters, and also supports the fun and humor throughout the film. The rock-electronic instrumentation is also sonically related to the music from the video games,” said Jablsonksy of the Borderlands soundtrack.

“At the same time, our characters go through an epic journey with a dramatic climax, and this is where I use the orchestra. As the story progresses, the score gradually transitions from dark and gritty to dramatic and orchestral.”

Available everywhere now, Borderlands features an original score written by Jablonsky for director Eli Roth’s new action comedy based on the best-selling gaming franchise of the same name. Jablonsky brings with him an extensive resume of scoring top Hollywood blockbusters, infusing the 24-track collection with soaring instrumentals and eclectic synthwork, befitting the otherworldly setting and onscreen action. Starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramírez, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, Gina Gershon, and Jamie Lee Curtis, Borderlands is in theaters now from Lionsgate.
