Suriya’s Kanguva Trailer Release Date & Time

The wait is almost over, as the highly anticipated trailer of Kanguva is set to drop in a few hours. About four months ago, the makers released a teaser showcasing an epic battle between Suriya and Bobby Deol, raising the film’sexpectations. Now, with the trailer release imminent, excitement has reached a fever pitch as viewers prepare to dive into the world of Kanguva. The production house recently heightened the buzz by announcing that the trailer will be out shortly.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva presents a visually stunning backdrop with Suriya and Bobby Deol in striking tribal avatars. Although the plot has been kept under wraps, it’s been confirmed that Kanguva is a fictional story that spans a timeline of 500 years, from the 1700s to 2023.

In an interview with The New Indian Express, director Siva explained , “The Tamil word Kangu means fire, and Kanguva means a man with the power of fire. The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts.”

When will Kanguva trailer be released?

Studio Green recently announced on X that they will release the Kanguva trailer on August 12 at 1 p.m. IST. The announcement, which was posted on August 11, reads, “Brace yourselves for the King’s Wrath & Glory. Unveiling the grand #KanguvaTrailer tomorrow at 1 PM.”

Kanguva will release in theaters on October 10, 2024, coinciding with the Dussehra festival. The makers reportedly have plans to release the film in 38 languages worldwide. Moreover, it will be available in standard, 3D, and IMAX formats.

Earlier, Amazon Prime Video confirmed that Kanguva will be available on its platform after the film’s theatrical release. However, details regarding the availability of dubbed versions or multi-language options on the streaming platform remain unconfirmed.
