She upholds justice, promotes righteousness, and always works towards the welfare of her people. When conspirators attack her and leave her to die, she is rescued by Cui Xing Zhou ( Zhang Wanyi ), the prince of Huai Yang. But she goes into a coma and forgets all about her past identity.

After she wakes up, she mistakes Xing Zhou for her husband. He conceals his identity and showers her with love. The two fall in love and become each other’s shield. But complications arise when she suddenly gets her memory back. To protect Mian Tang, Xing Zhou decides to bid her farewell and take her to her kingdom.

Strange Tales of Jiang Cheng

This Republican-era thriller will premiere this week on August 13, 2024 . The drama will follow eight bizarre cases. Mind-reading genius Qin Huo Le ( Xia Zhiguang ), the calm captain Song He ( Caesar Wu ), and forensic doctor Fan Xiao Fan ( Wang Zhiyi ) team up to investigate these mysterious cases. The drama will dig deep into complex human nature that turns humans into monsters. Even though they might appear normal and innocent, they possess twisted minds and crazy obsessions.

The drama will be broadcast throughout the week on Tencent Video .

Dashing Youth (episode 33-40)

The ongoing Xianxia Chinese drama Dashing Youth will release its final episode on August 14, 2024. It follows the story of childhood best friends Baili Dongjun ( Neo Hou ) and Ye Yun ( He Yu ) as they embark on a heroic journey to hone their skills and become legendary swordsmen. Ye Yun was proclaimed dead, but he survived and took on the name Ye Dengzhi as his disguise. However, conspirators keep trying to turn them against one another to break their bond. Love’s Rebellion (episode 22-31)

The Xianxia Chinese drama will release a total of 10 episodes this week. It follows the story of Nan Yan ( Jing Tian ), a young, talented poison maker who comes face to face with mysterious monarch Shao Cang ( Zhang Linghe ) while trying to collect herbs from the valley of filth. After Shao Cang saves her from enemies, she turns him into her test subject.

Shao Cang is a banished lord who has been stripped off of his title after being falsely accused of murdering his peers. He conceals his true identity and introduces himself as Ji Yang. He decides to stick around to collect the Seven Sins manual that resides inside Nan Yan. They fall in love, and Ji Yang sacrifices himself to save her life. After Nan Yan forms a spiritual connection seal with Ji Yang, they get entangled in conspiracies.

Love’s Rebellion is available to stream throughout the week on iQIYI and MGTV .
