Thai GL Series The Loyal Pin Episode 2 Recap & Spoilers

Freen Sarocha Chankimha and Becky Rebecca Patricia Armstrong ‘s new Thai GL series The Loyal Pin returned with episode 2 on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The drama follows the love story of Lady Khunying Pin (Freen) and Princess Anilaphat (Becky).

Episode 2 of The Loyal Pin shows Pin learning from her aunt, Patt, that Anin will soon go to study abroad. Assuming that the former feels neglected, the latter promises she’ll support her until she graduates from university. However, Pin says that’s not the case and adds that she’s sad because she and Anin will be apart for a long time. Elsewhere, Anin argues with her brother that she’s still too young to leave home. The latter tells her not to miss the opportunity. When Anin insists she can stay in the country, her brother asks her to broaden her horizons and be curious.

Anin asks Prik to stay with Pin so she won’t feel lonely. As the former begins her preparations, Pin carves mangoes all day to make her sadness go away. Later, Prik informs Pin that Anin won’t be able to attend school with her as she’ll be busy making preparations during these days. The former adds that the princess will come to see her whenever she can. Anin gets busy with the paperwork, while Pin misses her company. Meanwhile, Princess Alisa, too, feels upset as she doesn’t get to see her daughter often anymore. Patt consoles her and says it’s for the princess’ good.

Prik tries to comfort Pin and asks her not to feel sad as Anin won’t be gone for long. However, the latter reveals that she’ll be gone for seven years. Prik starts crying as she wonders what she’ll do without Anin. Later, the latter asks the former how Pin is doing. Prik tells Anin she’s “so sad and miserable” that she hardly speaks to anyone. Moreover, Pin was even more upset when Patt told her Anin would leave in two weeks. Later that night, the former cried in her room.

Anin decides to console Pin and goes to see her. The former tells the latter she misses her as they haven’t seen each other. Pin tells Anin she hasn’t gone away, and the former already can’t see her often. Anin says she’s not busy anymore and will cling to Pin until she’s bored of her. The former then asks the latter to make her a dessert. Later, Anin asks Pin why she has lost her appetite when she doesn’t eat with her. The former asks the latter what’s wrong when she refuses to answer.

Earlier, Anin asked Pin if she’d be lonely if the former goes away. The latter answers her question and says she’ll be lonely. Pin adds that she never wants Anin to stay away from her. The latter comforts the former and asks her not to cry. Anin then asks Pin to spend the rest of their time together. The two attend the Loy Krathong festival together. They go to float it to a secluded place after Pin sees her aunt’s acquaintance in the crowd. When Pin starts crying, Anin promises she’ll write to her daily.

Becky Armstrong leaves for abroad

Anin bids a tearful farewell to her family and Pin as she goes to study abroad. Later, the latter receives a letter from the former. Anin writes about her life and experiences in England and also sends postcards. The former also writes that she misses her home and family. Anin adds she misses and longs for Pin so terribly that it makes her cry.

Pin writes back to Anin and says she misses her every night and can barely sleep. The former asks her to look after herself and says she keeps all the postcards the latter sends her. Pin then adds that she crosses out the calendar every day and counts down the days until Anin returns. Years pass by, and the two enter university. They stay connected through several letters.

How does The Loyal Pin episode 2 end?

Prince Arnon’s friend, Master Kuea, pursues Lady Pin as he often visits her at the Lotus Palace. Kuea tries to ask the latter out, but she seeks Prik’s help to turn down his proposal. Elsewhere, Alisa visits Anin and her brother in England. Elsewhere, Pin learns from Patt His Highness is building a new palace next to the Lotus Palace for Princess Anin as her graduation gift. Furthermore, the palace prepares for Prince Anant’s engagement event. The Loyal Pin episode 2 ends with Anin returning from England.
