The Thai GL series The Secret of Us , starring Lingling Sirilak Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong , aired its final episode on Monday, August 12, 2024. The drama’s plot follows former flames Fahlada (Ling) and Earn (Orm), who reunite many years after their sudden breakup.

Episode 8 of The Secret of Us sees Lada think about the fight with her mother, Russamee. Earn checks up on the former, but she says she’s okay. Furthermore, the doctor explains Russamee’s operation and condition to Phuthares and Lada. He adds that it is uncertain when she’ll wake up or if she will fully recover. Afterward, Lada breaks down as Earn consoles her.

Russamee asks Phuthares where the girl has gone after she recovers and returns home. The latter explains Earn chose to leave as she knew Lada and the former would fight again if she had stayed. The following flashback shows Earn asked Phuthares if Russamee’s condition worsened because of her. Although the latter asked the former not to blame herself, he said Lada’s mother needs her. Earn then decided to walk out of their lives. Phuthares tells Russamee he’s glad their daughter met someone like Earn. When the latter argues she’s a woman, the former asks her to set aside prejudice and see how much they love each other. Furthermore, Russamee notices how heartbroken her daughter is.

Russamee goes to meet Earn and asks how much she loves her daughter. The former adds that Lada is not just a doctor, she will also have to take the director position. Russamee asks Earn if she’s ready for the pressure. The latter breaks down and asks the former what more she wants. Earn says she has chosen to back out as she doesn’t want to cause any more problems for Russamee’s family. The former then asks if it’s still not enough for the latter. After Russamee says it’s not enough, Earn breaks down and asks the former not to stop her from loving Lada.

Russamee then asks Earn to love Lada like she used to. The former asks the latter to look after her daughter and keep her happy. Russamee also apologizes for underestimating their love in the past. Earn tearfully thanks the former, and the two share a hug. Later, Russamee brings Earn to Lada and apologizes to her daughter. The former tells her to live the life the two have dreamt of.
