ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Rob Peace clip, previewing the upcoming biographical drama starring and directed by Academy Award-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Rob Peace is based on the 2014 biography The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace by Jeff Hobbs, and follows the story of Peace, an intellectually brilliant young man who leaves his home in New Jersey to attend Yale University. The film is set to release on August 16, 2024.

What happens in the Rob Peace clip?

The clip sees Rob Peace (Jay Will) examining screens on microscope when he’s approached by two people who question why he’s there. After questioning something in one of their notebooks, Peace and the man have an awkward standoff, with the clip ending with Peace confronting the man on thinking he didn’t belong in the lab due to how he looked.
