Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection is most certainly one of the most exciting rereleases coming this year. The newest Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection trailer puts the spotlight on X-Men: Children of the Atom.

What is featured in the new Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection trailer?

In the new Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection trailer, gameplay of X-Men: Children of the Atom is shown. Specifically, we see footage of Storm, Spiral, Colossus, Sentinel, Wolverine, Omega Red, Iceman, and Cyclops duking it out on various stages.

The new Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection trailer also features a look at X-Men: Children of the Atom’s training mode in action. The mode allows players to practice, and give combat data including attack damage, combo hits, and visuals of hit boxes.

Lastly, a look at the game’s museum mode is shown. It will feature shots of art from development, and the ability to listen to the game’s soundtrack.

X-Men: Children of the Atom originally released in 1994 in the arcades and brought to the Sega Saturn in 1995. It is the first Capcom fighting game to use characters from Marvel Comics. It uses the same systems from the iconic Capcom fighting game Street Fighter 2.

X-Men: Children of the Atom will feature a total of 13 playable characters. This includes Wolverine, Psylocke, Cyclops, Storm, Iceman, Colossus, Spiral, Silver Samurai, Omega Red, Sentinel, Juggernaut, Magneto, and Akuma.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection includes seven Capcom arcade classics featuring Marvel Comics characters. In addition to X-Men: Children of the Atom, players will get Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and The Punisher. It will feature both the Japanese and English versions of the arcade releases for all of its games.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection is slated to release digitally and physically this year for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. A specific release date has yet to be announced.
