Is The Simpsons trailer real? The trailer featuring Adam Sandler as Homer Simpson has ignited a frenzy among fans. Social media platforms are overflowing with excitement and discussions as fans express astonishment over the release of the Simpsons live-action movie. However, the proliferation of AI-generated fan videos has significantly obscured the distinction between authentic and artificially created trailers, making it increasingly challenging to determine their veracity.

Here’s all you need to know if the viral trailer of The Simpson is real or fan-made.

Is The Simpsons live-action movie trailer real or fake?

The Simpsons trailer of the live-action movie is fan-made.

The trailer has been released by Multiverse of AI, a YouTube channel known for its generative trailers of popular movies and shows. At the time of writing, the video has garnered 739,842 views.

The video uses AI to render actors as live-action representations of The Simpsons characters. The character selection is entirely based on fan preference. Furthermore, the trailer refrains from utilizing the iconic yellow pigmentation associated with the original characters.

Will Adam Sandler play Homer in The Simpson’s live-action movie?

Rumors circulating about Adam Sandler portraying Homer Simpson in a live-action The Simpsons film are untrue at the moment.

While a live-action adaptation of The Simpsons remains improbable, the possibility of an animated cinematic return cannot be entirely dismissed. Developing a full-fledged movie is extremely challenging for the makers according to Co-showrunner Matt Selman.

Talking to the Comic Book, he stated, “The stresses of writing and animating a film that would cause a movie audience to have a hilarious and moving experience that is not boring or confusing are much much higher than a TV show you watch at home while also looking at Instagram. Movies, however, are not just the same amount of work as just three episodes. They are about the same amount of work as 30 episodes…But a new ‘Simpsons’ movie would be amazing. We just need the right idea and a billion hours to make it great.”

The show is renewed by Hulu for Season 36 due to its enduring popularity and it will release in 2025. Meanwhile, all seasons of The Simpsons are currently streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu.
