A Big Bold Beautiful Journey Release Date Set for Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell Movie

The A Big Bold Beautiful Journey release date has been revealed. The upcoming romantic fantasy film, billed as the “next female event movie,” stars Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell.

Described as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the emotional journey that connects them,” the film is helmed and executive produced by Pachinko and After Yang director Kogonada. He directed the movie based on a script by Seth Reiss (The Menu).

When is the A Big Bold Beautiful Journey release date?

The forthcoming feature will be gracing the big screen on May 9, 2025, in time for next year’s Mother’s Day weekend.

In addition to Robbie and Farrell, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey will also feature the likes of Lily Rabe (Tell Me Your Secrets), Jodie Turner-Smith (Anne Boleyn), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass), Billy Magnussen (Game Night), Sarah Gadon (Dracula Untold), Brandon Perea (Nope), Yuvi Hecht (Pretty Freekin Scary), and newcomer Lucy Thomas.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is produced by Reiss, Youree Henly, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, and Ryan Friedkin. Additional executive producers include Ilene Feldman and Ori Eisen.

The star-studded film marks Robbie’s next movie project, following 2023’s box office hit Barbie. The actress is best known for starring in The Wolf of Wall Street, The Legend of Tarzan, Suicide Squad, I, Tonya, Bombshell, Birds of Prey, Babylon, and more.

Farrell, who reunites with Kogonada following his leading role in After Yang, most recently starred in Thirteen Lives, The Banshees of Inisherin, and The Batman. He is set to reprise his Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot role in the Matt Reeves-directed Batman feature with the upcoming crime drama series, The Penguin.

The trailer for A Big Bold Beautiful Journey has yet to be unveiled. The film hits theaters on May 9, 2025.
