ComingSoon can exclusively debut a new clip from The Clean Up Crew, which will be released on digital platforms and On Demand on August 20, 2024, from Saban Films. Click here for pre-order information.

The Clean Up Crew is an upcoming action thriller starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings, The Tudors), Swen Temmel (Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, After), Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish), and more. It will be released on digital platforms tomorrow from Saban Films.

The exclusive clip from The Clean Up Crew sees Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ character knock on the door of a large mansion. In response, Meyers’ character is promptly shot in the chest by someone behind the door; however, he’s luckily wearing a bulletproof vest. As he recovers, Swen Temmel’s character then takes out his guns and gets in a shootout with the armed men who set the trap.

What is The Clean Up Crew about?

Along with Meyers, Temmel, and Banderas, Ekaterina Baker and Melissa Leo star in the film.

“When a crime scene clean up crew (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Melissa Leo) discovers a briefcase full of money, they must out smart a criminal kingpin (Antonio Banderas) and corrupt FBI agents who want it back,” the synopsis reads.

The film is directed by Jon Keeyes, who previously made 2013’s Doom Room, 2017’s The Harrowing, 2021’s Rogue Hostage, 2021’s The Survivalist, 2022’s Code Name Banshee, and 2024’s Cult Killer.

The script, meanwhile, was written by Matthew Rogers, who previously worked on The Survivalist and Code Name Banshee along with 2023’s The Collective, which was directed by Tom DeNucci.
