ReFantazio Voice Actors Announced for New Atlus JRPG

Atlus announced the full English voice cast for the upcoming JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio. Unlike previous games from this team, Metaphor: ReFantazio will star a speaking protagonist voiced by Caleb Yen. Yen has lent his voice to video games like Rise of the Ronin, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Starfield, and Diablo 4. He can also be heard on anime like Demon Slayer, Onmyoji, and Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture.

The Metaphor: ReFantazio voice actors’ previous experience ranges from popular video games to fan-favorite television shows. Some names may look familiar, one of whom lent their voice to previous Atlus projects.

To celebrate the announcement, Metaphor: ReFantazio will be part of Xbox @ Gamescom 2024. Stewart Clarke and Kristine Atherton, the voices of Strohl and Hulkenberg, respectively, will be interviewed during the livestream. Additionally, brand new content of the game will be shown. Attendees can demo the game at Xbox’s Gamescom booth all week.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is the latest Atlus JRPG from Director Katsura Hashino, Character Designer Shigenori Soejima, and Composer Shoji Meguro. If these names sound familiar, it’s because they are some of the developers who created Person 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5.

Several different editions of Metaphor: ReFantazio are available to order right now. Players who purchase any edition of the game early will receive an Archetype EXP Chest Set and Adveturer’s Journey Pack.

Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 11, 2024.
