Following the recent news of The Acolyte being canceled, fans of the series are eager to know if the beloved characters of Osha, Mae, and Qimir will make a reappearance in future Star Wars projects. Set approximately a century before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, the trio’s compelling narratives were cut short by the series’ conclusion. Osha’s dramatic turn to the dark side and Mae’s memory erasure, under Qimir’s influence, left many fans wanting more. The anticipation for their return is palpable, especially given the intriguing storylines and complex dynamics they showcased.

So will Osha, Mae, and Qimir come back in future Star Wars shows following The Acolyte’s cancelation? Here is everything known on the matter.

Could Osha, Mae and Qimir return in other Star Wars shows after The Acolyte?

Osha, Mae, and Qimir’s returns in other Star Wars projects are currently unconfirmed.

Moreover, Lucasfilm’s upcoming slate of Star Wars projects, which include Andor Season 2, Ahsoka Season 2, and Skeleton Crew are all set in the future timeline of the Star Wars universe, unlike The Acolyte’s past setting. Thus, this effectively eliminates the chances of Osha, Mae, or Qimir making a comeback.

However, Osha, Mae, and Qimir could come back if and when Lucasfilm happens to announce a new Sith-based Star Wars prequel project, likely set during The Acolyte’s timeframe. This potential project could follow on from the ending of The Acolyte and see Osha’s training with Qimir.

Moreover, they could also come back if and when Lucasfilm decides to include them and their story in a possible future season of the anthology animated series Tales of the Jedi, which tells the stories of various characters in the Star Wars universe.

The Acolyte is currently streaming on Disney Plus. The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Joonas Suotamo, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, Rebecca Henderson, and Carrie Anne-Moss. Leslye Headland who previously worked on projects like Russian Doll and About Last Night is the series creator.
