Exclusive Advanced Chemistry Trailer Previews Science Rom-Com

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Advanced Chemistry trailer , previewing the upcoming comedy film centered around a scientist trying to come up with a drug to prevent cheating.

Advanced Chemistry is directed by Etana Jacobson, from a script written by Alec Moore. The film stars several notable stand-up comedians, including Samba Schutte, Chaunté Wayans, Sarah Burns, Kiran Deol, Iqbal Theba, and T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh.

What happens in the Advanced Chemistry trailer?

In the trailer, we’re introduced to Allen (Schutte), a struggling scientist who is working on a drug that stops people from cheating on their loved ones. The trailer also introduces Lisa (Deol), another scientist working on a drug to prevent people from falling in love, as the two slowly begin to form a romantic connection.

Advanced Chemistry is set to release in theaters on September 3, 2024, which will be followed up by a digital and on-demand release a month later, on October 8.

In Advanced Chemistry, a scientist injects his best friend with a compound he’s created to help her stop cheating on her wife,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “But when the wife finds her new fixation suffocating, the wife gets a dose too, which backfires when she falls for the scientist.”
