Recent reports have revealed details about former tag team champion Sting’s status for AEW All In in London. The show, which returns to London for the second time on August 25, 2024, will be held at Wembley Stadium.

Last year, the promotion hosted All In at Wembley Stadium, attracting over 80,000 fans. This was the first time in a decade that a non-WWE event drew such a large crowd. The show featured Sting teaming up with Darby Allin to face Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage in a Coffin Match, which Sting and Allin won in a thrilling encounter.

At 65 years old, Sting decided to retire earlier this year at AEW Revolution. He concluded his All Elite Wrestling career undefeated, winning his final match against The Young Bucks with Darby Allin by his side. Sting, who joined the promotion in 2020, ended his tenure with a perfect record of 29 wins and no losses.

Since the AEW Revolution, Sting has not appeared since his decision to retire from wrestling. As AEW returns to London this weekend, fans speculate whether they might see The Icon make a surprise appearance at the show.

Is Sting expected at AEW All In?

Recent reports from Fightful Select have given updates on former tag team champion Sting’s status for AEW All In. The reports indicate that Sting has been backstage at the recent AEW Collision episodes. The Icon has informed several close associates that he plans to travel to London for AEW All In.

It remains unconfirmed whether The Icon will appear on screen or simply be present backstage. His partner, Darby Allin, is scheduled to compete in the show. Allin is facing Jack Perry of The Elite for the TNT Championship in the Coffin match. With The Elite supporting Perry, it will be interesting to see if Allin might bring out his former tag team partner, Sting, to join him at All In this Sunday.
