Previously, scooper MyTimeToShineHello also posted about actress Katey Sagal joining One Piece Season 2 in the role of Doctor Kureha. At that time, it was just a rumor, but it has now been officially announced. In a post on X, Netflix’s One Piece official account shared a collage of Sagal and Mark Harelik cast as Doctor Kureha and Hiriluk, respectively.

“From the Great Medical Land of Drum, we bring you two legends in medicine! Our adventure just got a whole lot healthier!,” read the caption. In addition, another post confirmed that Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the One Piece Season 2 cast as Nefertari Cobra.

One Piece Season 2 has been in production at Netflix for a long time now. It is set to go into filming in December 2024.
