Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law revolves around the struggles of Jennifer Walters as an attorney and a superpowered Hulk. Ever since the action fantasy series ended in 2022, viewers have been wondering if it will return for a second season. So, will She-Hulk be renewed for Season 2 or is it canceled?

Here is everything you need to know about the series and a potential second season.

Is Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law canceled or renewed for Season 2?

As of now, the show’s status remains unknown as it has neither been canceled nor renewed. But, it appears that the show is unlikely to make a comeback with another season.

Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law concluded on October 13, 2022, streaming a total of nine episodes. Further, there has been no update from the makers regarding the show’s renewal, keeping its status unknown for a long time. It has been almost two years since the Season 1 finale was released, and now it seems a Season 2 might not happen.

Why She-Hulk Season 2 may not happen

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2 may not happen due to numerous reasons, including the unfavorable audience reception of the first season.

The show was not received greatly by the viewers and currently stands with an IMDB rating of 5.2/10. Its audience score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing is 32%. Apart from that, Marvel also slowed down on producing Disney Plus shows with several already in development.

Recently, the show’s lead Tatiana Maslany also opened up about why the show’s return is unlikely while appearing on Codenames LIVE! — The New Class on Twitch. She stated:

“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.'” (via Deadline)

However, there can be a possibility of the character of She-Hulk appearing in Avengers Crossover events in the MCU. In a recent chat with Comicbook, producer Wendy Jacobson also revealed how the story of Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk could potentially continue.

He said, “I mean, if we’re doing more She-Hulk… What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life… I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A. or I want to take her out into the multiverse, or into the universe.”

Seemingly, fans could respond positively to seeing the character getting explored in future crossovers along with other MCU icons. Nevertheless, only time will tell how She-Hulk will further develop in the cinematic universe.
