    Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Announced as Marvel vs. Capcom: Arcade Classics Gets Release Date

    Capcom has not only officially announced the Marvel vs. Capcom: Fighting Collection Arcade Classics release date, but also unveiled the Capcom Fighting Collection 2, featuring even more iconic fighting games.

    When is the Marvel vs. Capcom: Arcade Classics release date?

    Up first, Capcom announced that the Marvel vs. Capcom: Fighting Collection Arcade Classics release date would be September 12, 2024, digitally, and on November 22, 2024, for physical editions of the game. The Arcade Classics collection will include a ton of hit games from Capcom’s long history of superhero-focused fighting games, including:

    • X-Men vs. Street Fighter
    • Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
    • Marvel Super Heroes
    • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
    • X-Men: Children of the Atom
    • Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
    • The Punisher

    Preorders for the game are available now, with the physical edition also offering an exclusive, 32-page comic featuring legendary characters and super heroes as a bonus for those who preorder.

    Capcom Fighting Collection 2 features 8 iconic games

    Capcom also announced the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 during Nintendo’s latest Direct on Tuesday. The new collection will be available in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC, and will include a variety of hit games, all of which feature online play and rollback netcode.

    The game’s included in Capcom Fighting Collection 2, as well as a trailer for the game, are as follows:

    • Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
    • Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
    • Capcom Fighting Evolution
    • Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER
    • Project Justice
    • Power Stone
    • Power Stone 2
    • Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
