Watch Cate Blanchett & Kevin Hart Do Their Own Stunts in Exclusive Borderlands Clip

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Borderlands clip showcasing a behind-the-scenes look at the stunts performed by the actual actors in the action movie. Borderlands arrives on Premium Video on Demand and Premium Electronic Sell-Through on August 30 from Lionsgate.

What happens in the Borderlands clip?

The new Borderlands clip highlights the many stunts that the cast undertook on their own. The video also showcases brief interviews with director Eli Roth and stars Ariana Greenblatt, Kevin Hart, and Cate Blanchett, all of whom discuss the training and effort it took to prepare for the movie. Hart specifically mentions wanting to make sure things looked right and get training for the stunts, while Blanchett mentions her philosophy was just to dive fully into the role.

Borderlands is directed by Eli Roth from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Crombie. The film will be led by Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hart as Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis as Tannis, Jack Black as Claptrap, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus, Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx, Olivier Richters as Krum, Edgar Ramirez as Atlas, and Bobby Lee as Gary.

Additional cast also includes Haley Bennett, Cheyenne Jackson, Charles Babalola, Davis, Steven Boyer, Ryann Redmond. It’s produced by Arad Productions’ Avi Arad and Ari Arad, along with Picturestart’s Erik Feig, with Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford and CEO of Take-Two Interactive Strauss Zelnick executive producing.
