Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Release Date Set for Disney Sequel Series

Disney has officially set the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place release date, confirming when the sequel series to the hit Disney Channel original series.

When is the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place release date?

The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place release date has been set for October 29, 2024, when the first two episodes will premiere on Disney Channel. Following the Disney Channel premiere, two new episodes will premiere on October 30, including a special Halloween-themed episode.

The first eight episodes will then be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel on Demand the next day, October 30, 2024. Alongside the release information, Disney also announced that Raven-Symoné and Danielle Fishel will direct episodes in Season 1.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place stars David Henrie (as Justin Russo), Janice LeAnn Brown (as Billie), Alkaio Thiele (as Roman Russo), Max Matenko (as Milo Russo), Taylor Cora (as Winter) and Mimi Gianopulos (as Giada Russo). Selena Gomez (as Alex Russo) will guest star in the first episode.

Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas serve as writers and executive producers, along with executive producers Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Gomez, and Henrie. Andy Fickman directed and executive-produced the pilot and will direct multiple episodes. The original series, Wizards of Waverly Place, was created by Todd Greenwald.
