    The fantasy-action K-drama The Judge from Hell is set to premiere on SBS TV next month. The series stars veteran actress Park Shin-Hye as Kang Bit-Na. The K-drama was directed by well-known writer and director Park Jin-Pyo, while the screenplay was written by Jo Yi-Soo.

    Park Jin-Pyo has previously contributed to several notable Korean movies like Love Forecast, Brave Citizen, Closer to Heaven, You Are My Sunshine, and Voice of a Murderer. Since The Judge from Hell has an ensemble cast and renowned staff members associated with the production, several K-drama fans have been excited to learn more details about the upcoming K-drama.

    Park Shin-Hye’s The Judge from Hell K-drama: Release date & time on SBS

    SBS recently announced the release date and time of Park Shin-Hye’s much-awaited series. The Judge from Hell will premiere on Saturday, September 21, 2024, with the first two consecutive episodes on SBS TV at 10 p.m. KST. New episodes of the series will air every Friday and Saturday on SBS TV.

    The upcoming K-drama will also be available for viewers to watch online on Disney Plus on the same day. However, the series’ air time on the streaming platform may differ from its release time on the SBS TV network.

    The Judge from Hell K-drama: Cast & plot

    As mentioned earlier, fans will see Park Shin-Hye portraying the main role of Kang Bit-Na in The Judge from Hell. Kang Bit-Na is a powerful and fierce demon who has come from hell to the world. She lives among the humans to complete a mission of punishing evil individuals by ending their lives. Moreover, she goes on to take the form of a judge, who is well-reputed for her diligence and sense of justice, to fulfill her mission.

    Meanwhile, Kim Jae-Young will play the male lead, Han Da-On, a highly skilled detective in the violent crimes unit at Nobong Police Station. While he has a modest and kind personality, Han Da-On is reputed for his observational skills. However, he holds much pain in his heart and keeps it hidden from everyone around him.

    Apart from Park Shin-Hye and Kim Jae-Young, the cast also includes Kim In-Kwon as Koo Man-Do, Lee Gyu-Han as Jung Tae-Kyu, Kim A-Young as Lee A-Rong, Kim Hye-Hwa as Kim So-Young, Lee Mi-Do as Seo Hwa-Sun, and Han Sang-Jin as Joo Hyeong-Seok. Choi Dong-Goo, Kim Jae-Hwa, Kim Kwang-Kyu, Kim Young-Ok, Kim Hong-Fa, and Lee Gyu-Hoe round out the cast ensemble.

    The series revolves around the themes of the coexistence of good and evil. It unfolds when the devil-turned-judge Kang Bit-Na meets detective Han Da-on. She soon realizes that he is a grounded person who has been living in a hellish reality. Their meeting will completely change both of their lives. Given the premise of the K-drama, it will surely take viewers on a thrilling ride.
