    September 2024 is all set to bring a promising set of K-dramas for avid fans. While August saw several new releases, the upcoming month will follow suit with some much-awaited K-drama releases and interesting plotlines. Fans can choose from a variety of genres, including thriller, historical, mystery, romance, and several others. These upcoming shows will also be made available on major streaming platforms for viewers all around the world to enjoy.

    As of this writing, K-drama releases slated for September include Seoul Busters, The Judge From Hell, The Tale of Lady Ok, To My Haeri, and others.     Seoul Busters

    Seoul Busters is an upcoming Disney Plus K-drama that will premiere on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 4 p.m. KST. The drama follows the story of Dongbang Yoo Bin (Kim Dong-Wook), the tall and intelligent head of a homicide squad at a police station. He rejects the prestigious offer of becoming a permanent professor at a foreign university and volunteers to become the head of a low-ranking homicide squad. The series also stars Park Ji-Hwan, Seo Hyun-Woo, and Park Se-Wan.

    The Judge From Hell

    The Judge From Hell is a highly-awaited K-drama that will premiere on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. It will also be available to stream on Disney Plus. The series follows the journey of an elite judge named Kang Bit-Na (Park Shin-Hye), who is known for her cold demeanor and lack of empathy. However, people are unaware that a demon possesses the judge, who was sent to Earth to kill evil people and send them to hell. She eventually meets kind and caring detective Han Dan-Oh (Kim Jae-Young), and the two begin to affect each other’s lives.

    The Tale of Lady Ok

    The Tale of Lady Ok is an upcoming historical K-drama that will air on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. The streaming details of the drama remain unknown. Set in the Joseon period, it follows the story of legal expert Ok Tae-Young (Lim Ji-Yeon). She is smart and talented and doesn’t think twice before helping people. However, she had a well-kept secret about her identity, including her name, husband, and more being fake. Eventually, she meets storyteller Cheon Seung-Whee (Choo Young-Woo), who falls in love with her and helps her.

    To My Haeri

    To My Haeri will premiere on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on ENA. The drama follows the journey of veteran but unpopular announcer Joo Eun-Ho (Shin Hye-Sun). Due to personal traumatic experiences, she develops another personality named Joo Hye-Ri, who has an optimistic mindset and works as a parking attendant. She reunites with her ex-boyfriend and popular announcer, Jung Hyeon-O (Lee Jin-Wook). However, he carries a deep emotional pain. The two help each other through their struggles. As of now, the streaming details of the series remain unknown.

    What Comes After Love

    What Comes After Love is a highly anticipated K-drama that will premiere on September 27, 2024, on Coupang Play. The drama follows the story of Choi Hong (Lee Se-Young), a Korean student studying in Japan. She crosses paths with Aoki Jungo (Sakaguchi Kentaro) and immediately falls in love. The two spend quality time with each other but break up soon due to different perspectives on life and love. A few years later, the two reunite in Korea and reflect on their memories together. Meanwhile, the drama will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

    Iron Family

    Iron Family is an upcoming KBS K-drama that will premiere on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 7:55 p.m. KST. The storyline follows a chaebol, Seo Kang-Joo (Kim Jung-Hyun), who belongs to the wealthiest family in the neighborhood. He works as the senior director of a conglomerate and meets fellow university alumni Lee Da-Rim (Geum Sae-Rok), with whom he had an exciting experience. Meanwhile, Lee Da-Rim’s family runs a popular laundry shop. She has lost most of her vision but hopes to regain her eyesight. The two then embark on an unforgettable journey.
