Dragon Ball Daima Anime Release Date Revealed for Japan

Fans of the legendary Dragon Ball anime residing in Japan will finally witness Dragon Ball Daima as its release date has been announced. The new anime was a highlight of the New York Comic-Con 2023. It was revealed as one of the highly-anticipated projects to be released on Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary. With the release date, some new information regarding Dragon Ball Daima Episode 1 was also revealed in the latest program announcement in Japan.

Fuji Television finally announces Dragon Ball Daima Episode 1 release date

Dragon Ball Daima will start airing on October 11, 2024 at 11:40 PM JST.

As per Mantan Web , the announcement was made by Nakajima Yuichi, the programming director at the headquarters of  Fuji Television. He stated that the production work for all episodes of Dragon Ball Daima is completed.

Yuichi further talked about the time slot of Dragon Ball Daima. He said, ”Since it’s a new work, we want it to be watched by a nationwide network. Until now, it was also broadcast on Sunday mornings, but Sunday mornings are not a nationwide network. We are also aiming for a time slot that Dragon Ball fans and the target audience can easily watch.”

Dragon Ball Daima is said to be a completely different take on the legendary work by the late creator of the manga, Akira Toriyama. As per ComicBook , the upcoming series is crafted to honor the legacy left behind by Toriyama.

The brand-new anime is set to focus on Goku in a completely different form and will be witnessed embarking on some great adventures. Additionally, Goku will again be voiced by Masako Nozawa in this anime, who is the original voice of the character. Meanwhile, the release schedule for Dragon Ball Daima in international television networks is still unavailable. However, fans can expect to get an update on that soon.
